Welcome to the Kirkland Family! I'm Connor Kirkland, Co-Founder of Kirkland Solutions, and I made this website you're on right now. Pictured with me is my beautiful wife and Co-Founder Liz.
To be straightforward, I started this blog to earn your trust. I'll be honest - I'm not a writer (unless you count writing code, then I write quite a lot). What I am, however, is someone who empathizes with the small business owners in Warner Robins and the surrounding Middle Georgia area.
20 Years of "Experience"
I grew up in this "big, small town". My family moved here in 2002, and because I was only in second grade I came along with them. I've experienced the benefits of the incredible school system, my loving church community, the low cost of living, and years of employment from (essentially) my only 2 employers - Houston Lakes Cinemas and Robins Air Force Base. Aside from the occasional vacation, and the 4 year degree I got from Georgia Southern University, you might say that Middle Georgia is all I know. And if you've been here as long as I have, maybe you see things the way I do - this place has a lot of potential.
Potential
As I write this, Warner Robins is undergoing exciting changes, with Mayor LaRhonda Patrick and the development authorities working to beautify Commercial Circle, sparking innovation.
Perry has transformed into a vibrant town, hosting numerous events and welcoming diverse local restaurants in its charming downtown area.
Macon boasts a rich history, vibrant downtown with breweries and boutiques, and a thriving college community.
Growth Opportunites
If you've been around long enough, you've probably seen the recent exponential growth in new businesses around town.
No... I'm not talking about the storage facilities, car washes, and franchises. Don't get me wrong, I've utilized all of those plenty. But, I'm talking about the local owned restaurants, the non profits, the boutiques, the service businesses, the realtors, and all the other small businesses that add the heart and soul to Middle Georgia.
